General Description: At first glance, nobody would ever tell that Miss Arwen struggles with depression and self loathing. She's such a sweetheart that puts everyone before herself. She volunteers her time to help the less fortunate, donates to causes in which the proceeds actually go to help those who are in need, always has a smile on her face, is a bit hyper-active, and is known for making those around her smile and have fun. She's the type of overly bubbly girl that almost seems annoying at times. However, at the same time, Arwen is very insecure. She does not see herself in a very positive light, though she tries to. Arwen tries hard to be what those around her want her to be to the point that there are times where she almost forgets who she is. She tries really hard to stay strong, though her depression and insecurities tend to make that highly difficult.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]

History: Arwen was the eldest of two girls born to her parents. She always tried her best to impress them and be that perfect daughter that they all wanted her to be, even when she was little. She wore the outfits that Mommy picked out for her and always got so upset if she accidentally got it dirty. She was Daddy's little princess. Things changed, though, after Galadriel was born. Arwen was often compared to how perfect and adorable little Drea was. She never felt that her accomplishments were ever really acknowledged as Drea got the spotlight. It was heartbreaking to her. As she got older, though, she learned to push aside her personal issues with a smile and a laugh, being her silly self that made others smile. Nobody outside her family knew she was depressed, and that was only because in her sophomore year, she had a breakdown at a family reunion. She ended up having a panic attack, and a doctor friend of her parents suggested she see a child therapist. She was put on mild anti-depressants, and she tried hard to keep that she was on them a secret.
It was around that time that one of her friends started to notice the way that Arwen did not eat in front of people. She spent more time toying with her food or talking; and, she lost a dramatic amount of weight. Said friend anonymously went to the school therapist with her fears, and Arwen was brought in just to talk. It was realized that maybe the teen needed a bit more help than what they could provide. The counselor contacted her parents about St. Helena's school, and before the end of her sophomore year, the sickly thin girl found herself walking in the doors of the academy.
While there, Arwen started to get better, but she struggled and often relapsed. That was why, come August of her senior year, she was still a student. Maybe a part of her was really just wanting to avoid having to go home and face the disappointment of her parents.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
