History:
Hayden grew up in Tallahassee, FL with his mother, Mary and his father Brandon. He grew up an only child and, well, it could be said that he was spoiled. His Father is owned a successful recording business and his Mother worked as a lawyer. He attended a private school for the arts for both elementary and middle school. He received mostly B’s, and was very active in both his school’s and church’s choirs.
When he was about to start high school, his father helped him record his first cd. It sold well and Hayden was loving all of the attention he was getting. He started performing in local business and other venues. He was very popular at school, and was the first freshman to ever be named prom king. He began dating a girl named Anna.
His sophomore year he began working with his father to make another album. He continued to perform, and started attending a lot of parties. He got drunk one night and got a tattoo of a cross on his left arm. His mother was not happy about this. His parents started fighting about what path his career should take. He got drunk more often and was arrested a few times for underage drinking. His grades began slipping as he was not bothering to show up or do work anymore.
His Sophomore year ended with his parents officially filing for divorce. This pissed him off, and he stole his Dad’s car one night when he was completely wasted and had also tried speed for the first time. He drove through a red light and hit an oncoming car. Hayden miraculously walked away unscathed. The other people were not so lucky. They had some broken bones and other minor injuries. Anna, was in the car with him, they had been arguing about breaking up. She was in a coma, and passed away a few days later from a cerebral hemorrhage causing increased intracranial pressure.
He was arrested and was in juvenile detention for a few months Anna’s parents wanted him sent to jail, and it was a lengthy court process. His mother worked out a deal for him to be sent to St. Helena's instead.
He attended St. Helena's until graduation, and was able to get his life back on track. He has stayed clean, doing well in school, and reconciled with his parents. After graduation he went to college to become a teacher. After working at a few schools, he heard about an opening at St. Helena's. He applied, wanting to give back to the school that saved him, and was hired.
