General Description: Kieran is very laid-back and wants to be able to help anyone who wants or needs his help. Sometimes he does forget that even he has his limits though and cannot physically or emotionally save everyone. He likes classic rock music and enjoys playing the guitar. He enjoys being out in nature and hiking, rock climbing, etc. He has a '67 Chevy Impala that is his baby, and he enjoys working on her and keeping her in top condition. He's sings and plays guitar, but he's shy about letting people hear him do so. One of his biggest pet peeves is when people whine or do not even bother to try to do something. History:
Growing up in a small town in Texas, Kieran was the center of his Mother's attention. And his Father's when he was not drinking. That was not very often. His Father hit him sometimes when he was drunk, but Kieran did not fight back. Despite his home life, he did well in school and had many friends. He played football and did martial arts. By the time he was in high school, he was on the varsity football team and a first degree black belt. His parents then announced they were pregnant with another child. Kieran was less than thrilled about this and began rebelling.
He got into drugs and alcohol. Soon he was kicked off the football team and out of his Martial Arts school. He got involved in illegal fighting. With the martial arts background he had he was good, and he used the money to buy drugs. By this point Kieran was not attending school and was failing his classes. After being caught a few times fighting, he was court ordered to attend a wilderness school for troubled teens..
They really helped him get his life back on track. He was once again close with his family, and loved his little brother. Well, everyone but his Father anyway, who still continued to drink. After he graduated he spent some time traveling, not really sure what he wanted to do.
He got back into martial arts and opened up his own martial arts school. After about a year of doing that, he closed the school down. He wasn't making much money and was not very happy and began drinking again.
Kieran worked to get sober again, went back and volunteered at the school that had helped him so much while he worked as a waiter at the local diner. He severed ties with his family during this time, thinking it was for the best. After some time doing that, he felt like he finally knew what he wanted to do in life. Help others like he'd been helped. Over the next 5 years he went to college to become a youth counselor, while also working to support himself. He did a year long internship as part of his graduation requirements, and was hired by the school after that.
About 9 months ago the school closed down because of funding issues. Kieran wanted to continue helping kids and found out about St. Helena's. It seemed similar to what he'd done before, so, he applied, interviewed, and was hired. [/justify][/blockquote][/size]
