General Description: Sebastien is a pretty average looking guy. Sure, people know to be careful around him, but it’s not because of the way he looks. He doesn’t wear masses of dark clothing, he isn’t pierced all over, and he isn’t covered in tattoos. In fact, there isn’t anything especially remarkable about his appearance at all. Sebastien usually wears a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Band t-shirts aren’t his favorites, but he can be found in muscle shirts or other graphic tees. If the weather requires, he’ll don a navy blue zip-up hoodie, but he prefers just a t-shirt. His favorite footwear is a pair of beat-up Nike sneakers.[/blockquote]

General Description: Sebastien is often seen as a ticking time bomb. He can be set off super easily and he doesn’t let things go. He doesn’t wake up feeling angry or thinking he is going to have an angry day. It just sort of happens. Things build up throughout the day. If the cafeteria doesn’t serve anything good for breakfast, he’ll be a little annoyed. If his first class then runs over, he’ll be a bit grumpy. If little things keep going wrong, he’ll be very angry by lunchtime and dangerous close to blackout anger by dinner.
Sebastien knows he has a problem, but he doesn’t like to admit it, and he certainly doesn’t want help from others. He’d rather make an attempt at controlling it on his own. That is why he took up rugby, soccer, and lacrosse, and started his graffiti art. It’s a way for him to control his own anger. He absolutely hates when he blacks out and can’t remember what he did. It’s disorienting and frustrating to only know from the damage afterwards. This is why he plays the rougher sports. It’s a way for him to get his anger out and to hit people without having to worry about blacking out. And if he does accidentally black out during a game or a practice, it’s not a stressful when he comes to. He hates being considered an artist just for his graffiti, though. He does put more thought into it; he doesn’t simply tag things because he can. He tries to tell a story with his images. They all feature a simple little bird, but the bird’s color, accessories, and setting give a clue into how he is feeling.
If someone makes Sebastien especially mad, he tends to remember. He holds grudges for a long time and has a very hard time letting things go. If he has a grudge against someone, he will avoid that person at all costs to avoid a blackout fight.[/blockquote]

History: Sebastien was born to a 21-year-old woman who didn’t even want a child. She was in college, but she wasn’t concerned about grades or classes. She had gotten mixed up with the wrong crowd. She was sleeping around, partying frequently, drinking heavily, and doing drugs. She was rarely sober, and when she was, she was often high instead. The endless cycle would have continued, likely resulting in a miscarriage, if it hadn’t been for a school friend. Trisha hadn’t heard from Brianna all day, she knew the girl had been partying heavily the night before, so she stopped by Brianna’s apartment. Trisha found her passed out on the floor with an empty alcohol bottle and a positive pregnancy test next to her. She immediately called 911, and the first responders took Brianna to the ER. After a short stint there, she was sent to rehab, both for her sake and her child’s.
Brianna was six weeks pregnant, but she kept saying she didn’t want the baby. She wanted an abortion. The nurses and psychiatrists at the rehab clinic, however, didn’t think she was mentally stable enough to make that decision. They refused to let her abort, and instead made sure she did everything she was supposed to in order to ensure a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby. Once the baby was born, though, there was nothing the nurses could do to keep her in the clinic. She checked herself out the day after, leaving the baby behind. The nurses named him Sebastien and completed what they could of the birth certificate before handing the boy over to the state.
Sebastien spent the first three years of his life in a state-run home. After that point, he bounced from foster home to foster home. Something always seemed to happen, though. The family didn’t want to adopt, they were having financial troubles and couldn’t take care of any extra kids anymore, their biological children didn’t understand the concept of a foster child and bullied him constantly. That was the first home Sebastien remembered. He was six, the family already had five kids, and the kids didn’t like the idea of another sharing their space. They thought he would steal all their parents’ love, so they bullied him heartlessly, some of their actions bordering on abuse. The family eventually returned him to the care of the state, and the cycle started all over again.
Things were never quite the same after that, though. Sebastien built up a shield, he didn’t let many in, and he fought back if someone picked on him. It slowly got worse and worse. He began to get angry if he was bullied. Then the anger spread into things not going his way. By the time he started middle school, he spent more time in the principal’s office than in class. It got worse still by high school. He survived three months of his freshman year before getting kicked out. The second school took him for five months before letting him go. He finished the last month of his freshman year online. He went through three more schools his sophomore year. By the end, no schools or foster families would take him. The state turned him over to St. Helena’s as a last resort.[/blockquote]
