History: Nykki was born into a fairly wealthy family. An only child, she was doted upon as a child until it became apparently in school that she had some problems. It wasn't all that evident in elementary school, they didn't really notice that she had some differences from the other students, teachers would just describe her as unruly yet exceptionally organized. She would get into trouble for being overly energetic, and even when she finished her work completely and was done before others, she had a habit of disrupting the classes which was the cause of more than one note being sent home to her parents. But still, it wasn't all that much of a problem until she got to middle school.
In middle school, she was still seen as unruly, though now at an age when children were expected to be more mature, this just didn't work out for a lot of her teachers. And so she was suspended a lot, until her parents finally pulled her from one private school to another, though she just continued to get into trouble. It went on like this for the three years of her junior high school experience until her parents heard about St. Helena's. They managed to get her enrolled their for her first year of high school as a freshman, and were hoping that she would improve since this school was supposedly for teens like their Nykki.
At St. Helena's, Nykki became very close friends with another student named Alaric Jester who shared a counselor with her. Someone they both became close to as well. After a while, Nykki began to think of them as part of her family. Alaric was like the brother she'd never had and Gibbs was more like her father than her own birth father. He just seemed to get her more than her own father ever had. So even after she left St. Helena's and went on to college, she vowed to come back to St. Helena's so that maybe one day she could be to someone what Gibbs was to her. Imagine her delight when she returned and found that not only was Gibbs still there, but so was Alaric who had taken up a teaching job. Finally their little family was back together again. And all was perfect in life.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
