It was just an excuse for people to drink, do drugs, and find people to take home. Yet, there he was, leaning against the hood of someone's car, drinking out of a red plastic cup. He was not sure what he was drinking, but Tyler knew that it probably was not a smart idea to be drinking it since he was on anti-depressants. At that moment, however, Tyler really did not care. He was more focused on losing himself in the entire thing. If he did not think about anything, then nothing was wrong. He smirked a little at the rather stupid joke someone nearby told. It was not all that funny, but the buzz of alcohol that he could feel in his fingers was enough to make it at least somewhat amusing. Of course, it did not mean Tyler wanted to continue to listen to the guy go on and on about something or another. Maybe he should pay more attention to what was going on around him. Tyler took a drag off the cigarette that was in his other hand and he stood up straight and walked away from the group gathered at that car. It did not matter that most of the people at the party were strangers. Everyone was there for more or less the same reason that Tyler was; to forget reality. He held the cigarette carefully between two fingers, shifting his cup over to the same hand so that he could run his free hand through his hair as he walked, looking over the different groups of people that were there. Tyler wrinkled his nose a little at a group that was surrounding a girl hooking up with a guy right there in front of everyone. He had just seen way much more of the female body than he wanted to.
With a sigh, Tyler switched the cup to his other hand once more so he could take another drag off the cigarette before downing some more of the alcohol. He had just lowered the cup when he found himself walking right into someone over by the make-shift dance floor where people were writhing together as music played loudly from someone's car. "Sorry," Tyler told the person with an upward quirk of his lips. He normally would have felt worse about running in to someone; but, at that moment, he honestly could have cared less. Tyler was not fully sure what possessed him, but as he took a slight step back, he flicked his hair out of his eyes and then asked, "D'you wanna dance?" The worst that would happen would be that the guy would turn him down. The guy was hot, and Tyler was tired of just standing around. Or maybe that was the antsy feeling that inched through his veins along with the alcohol. Either way, he did not want to just stand there, and the guy he bumped into was hot. Tyler was pretty sure the guy was a student at St. Helena's that he had seen around a few times. However, Tyler had paid so little attention to everyone when he first got there that he was not fully sure. And if he was correct in his assumption, he had no idea what the guy's name was. Tyler was not sure he cared. It was a night to forget all of that; to have fun and relax. It was a night to try to be a normal teenager for once, instead of one that did not want to exist anymore. Tyler managed a smile at the guy before dropping aside the cigarette and taking the other guy's wrist in hand, deciding that the guy's answer was going to be next. Tyler dragged him over to where the other teens were dancing and tugged him close. "We go to the same school, yeah? 'M Tyler."

Last year had been so boring that he'd nearly had to do something drastic to keep from dying of boredom. But now, as a senior, he was invited to some of the cooler parties that most juniors, and new juniors at that, weren't invited to. Like the party tonight at the quarry. Sam had been glad to get the hell out of dodge, he hated that stupid school where the teachers who had read his file looked at him with sympathy or disgust. He could do without either, there was nothing wrong with him. So he was quite content to get dressed in his best (even if his jacket wasn't exactly allowed by the school dress code), and go out to have a good time.
So with his red plastic cup in hand, he walked amongst the other party goers, laughing, flirting, and dancing with anyone who caught his eye. So what if he wasn't wearing a shirt, it wasn't cold outside, and he knew that showing off his torso couldn't hurt his chances to get lucky that night. So as he was walking across the make-shift dance floor, and someone ran into him, he shifted backwards as his drink sloshed slightly and looked up at the male who was apologizing to him. Holy mother of god. Sam's jaw could have dropped at the drop-dead gorgeous beauty in front of him. Was it legal to look that good? If anyone at this party looked better than he did, it was this boy in front of him. And he wanted a taste. More than a taste, he wanted to bask in the other male. Revel in him.
So when the boy asked him to dance, Sam let a coy smile flit over his features. "I would be simply delighted to dance with you," he stated easily, allowing the other male to take his wrist and tug him over to dance with him. He tilted his head as the other asked if they went to the same school. It was entirely possible, but how the hell he had missed this beautiful boy was beyond him. "I'm Sam," he stated, smirking at the other male. "And I simply must know... where the hell have you been all my life, beautiful?" he asked, placing one hand on the other's hip lightly as he pressed a little closer, holding his drink easily with one hand as he swayed his hips to the beat of the music. He preferred the cold. He was cold a lot of the time anyway. It was fitting, he thought. Tyler's brow rose at the other teen's answer, but he did not say anything. The dude seemed a bit too excited for some stupid dance. Whatever, though. Tyler did not really care. He took a drink out of his cup as they stopped, resting his other arm on the guy's shoulder. The guy's hand rested a hand on his hip and Tyler was not sure whether or not he was okay with that. However, he did not try to get the guy, Sam, to move it. Tyler set aside his empty cup, deciding he was rather done with the drink that was making his head all fuzzy. Really, mixing alcohol and medication was never a good idea. "Sam, right. I'll have to remember that," Tyler stated, though mostly to himself. Maybe that time he would actually remember the guy's name. Maybe. He was shit with names.
"And I simply must know... where the hell have you been all my life, beautiful?" Tyler snorted a little at that, smirking as he raised an eyebrow in amusement. Did the guy seriously just say a line out of some cheesy chick flick? "Does that line ever really work for you?" he questioned, flicking his hair back out of his eyes. Honestly, he did not know whether he wanted to shove the guy away for being desperate enough to try a line like that, or to give him props for trying something as corny as that. The guy was hot, however, so Tyler guessed he easily got away with things like that. He could easily see Sam as being one of those people that rarely got turned down and almost always got what he wanted. Tyler's self-esteem was so very non-existant, however, that he was sure the guy was wasting his time. Tyler never saw himself as attractive. He just existed when he did not even want to do that. Tyler absently wet his lips as he tried to steer his thoughts away from that direction, flicking his hair out of his eyes once again as he looked toward Sam. "Try again, big guy. One of your lines might actually work out for you." Tyler was very good at faking confidence. He always seemed sure of himself, when the reality was the opposite. Masks he could do well. It was one thing he felt he was good at. He was a fair singer, and good with written word; but, that was about it. "Tell me you're not one who has used the 'I've lost my number, can I have yours?' line. 'Cause that's a deal breaker right there, dude." Okay, maybe it wouldn't actually be a deal breaker. Tyler was not sure where the night was going to lead, and he was not sure he would really turn anything down. He just wanted to focus on something that was not his usual thoughts, to forget and maybe even feel alive for a moment or two. Tyler could not remember the last time he had actually felt alive. It was sometime before Matt's accident; that much, he was sure of. He was fairly sure it was one of the times he was hanging out with Matt and their other friends. It felt like a lifetime ago. It was a lifetime ago. Tyler was not that person anymore. At least then, he did not need to pretend as much. He was actually happy sometimes, then. The guilt he carried was enough to destroy what bit of him was alive before. "How do you make it possible to just wear a jacket as a top? I mean, really. It's unfair." Tyler smirked a little as he spoke, tipping his head slightly to the right enough to keep the fringe of his hair out of his eyes while he studied the boy dancing with him. He was trying to turn the conversation away from himself as much as possible, and continuing to ask the other guy questions was the best way Tyler knew to do that.

"Good. I'd hate to try and talk to you later and you not remember me." He liked to leave a lasting impression on people. Especially good-looking people. And this male was definitely good looking. Pretty, almost feminine. Prettier than most girls he'd met, those same girls who would resent this boy for being so much prettier than they were. Him? He had no problem going with a guy who was prettier than him.
Sam laughed though as the other seemed amused by his choice of wording and then asked if the line ever worked. "Sometimes," he stated, nodding matter-of-factly. "But it wasn't a line... I'm genuinely curious as to where you come from. Must have been one hell of a place to produce someone who looks as good as you..." A loving family, perhaps. Had this boy been taken from his family as he had? Of course, the other told him then that he should try again and one of his lines might actually work out. He laughed, shifting his weight slightly as the song changed over that they were currently dancing too and adjusted his movements accordingly. "Well I don't know... see I'm really not all that good at hitting on people..." he stated, looking up at the other.
"Especially those like you who obviously could have anyone that they want at this party. So I really have a snowballs chance in hell of getting anywhere with you..." Another slight shrug as he danced with the other. Though as the other asked if he'd used a certain line, he laughed. "Can't say I've used that line before. But then, I don't even know my own number... I never call it, so anytime someone asks for it, I always have to look it up..." he stated with a bit of amusement in his eyes.
When the other turned the convesation towards his jacket though, Sam looked down at himself as if realizing that he had forgotten a shirt that night. "Hm. I don't realy know. I just know that I get overheated pretty easily... so why wear extra clothing when you don't really need it?" He smirked slightly at the other male. "I'd make a crack about me just being to hot, but... seems kind of pigheaded. So I'll just stick with my original story." He gave a playful wink before shrugging again. "But if I get cold, I can always just zip it up..." He leaned a little closer to the other male. "It'd be a good look for you, too. I have plenty of leather jackets if you want..." He let his gaze roam over the other's form at this point before returning to those gorgeous blue eyes. "And its obvious already that leather is a good look for you." Why would the guy want to talk to him later? Right at the moment made sense because it was convenient, and he was right there; but, later? That implied that Sam might actually want to talk to him later, and people did not usually want to do that. Tyler laughed softly, draping both arms around the guy's shoulders as he pressed closer, mostly to avoid bumping into someone else and partially just because Tyler found that he liked being close to this guy. "It was definitely one hell of a place," replied Tyler, absently wetting his lips. It was not the time to let the question make him start to think about home. Home was a bad thought, one that needed blocked out. He took a deep breath and mentally shook it off before laughing softly again. "I'm pretty sure you're exaggerating on my looks. I mean, you've seen you, right?" Tyler was definitely a nothing in comparison to Sam. Sam was... gorgeous. He held a slight feminine look, but remained very much masculine at the same time. Tyler thought he was one of the most gorgeous guys he'd seen. It really confused him that the guy thought that he was someone who could have anyone at the party. That could not be farther from the truth, and Tyler knew it well. "I think you've more of a chance than you're giving yourself credit for," Tyler replied with a slightly amused smirk, absentmindedly toying with Sam's hair with one hand. "Pretty sure you could have anyone here that you wanted with a single look. So, why me?" That was what Tyler really could not understand. Why him out of everyone? There were definitely more attractive people than him around; plus, he was just not a good person in general. He was not sure how to let Sam know that without getting into things that Tyler really did not want to talk about, especially with a stranger.
"Maybe pigheaded, but not off from the truth," Tyler replied as he let his eyes travel along the other teen's form for a moment before lifting so they locked eyes once again. Honestly, how did a guy that looked like that think he did not have a chance with anyone he wanted? Tyler laughed, mostly to try to cover the pink tint that colored his pale features as Sam looked him over and commented on how leather was a good look for him. "And here I thought you were bad at hitting on people." He smirked a little as he spoke, amusement ringing in his tone while he flicked his hair back out of his eyes. "Get me another drink, and I'm yours for the night." Tyler nodded a little as the music playing changed once again. He was starting to lose his buzz and he wanted it back. At the same time, though, he was not sure he wanted to have to let go of Sam. It was nice to have someone close. If it got him another drink, though, Tyler could let the guy go at least for a bit.

He loved his laughter though. Tyler had a great laugh. And his voice... was melodic. Deeper than one expected from someone so slight of stature and pretty in the face. An enigma. He was addictive, and already Sam wanted more. He was more than willing to allow the other to move a little closer to him, smiling as the other wrapped his other arm partially around his neck. His hand on the other's hip slid around slightly as the other moved closer, resting now on his back, though safely above the other's ass so that he didn't seem to grabby. Unfortunately, the other hand had to remain out slightly as it still held his cup.
Though when hte other stated that he was sure he was exaggerating on his looks, Sam snorted slightly. "Oh, right... like you don't know you're the sexiest guy out here," he stated easily, watching the other male. "Yeah, I've seen me. I also know that you look way better than me," he added truthfully, arching a brow. "I know I'm good-looking... but I also know when someone else is sexier than I am." Like he could delude himself into thinking that Tyler wasn't hotter than him. He knew his limits, and this boy was definitely beyond his limits. He smirked slightly though at the other male as he stated that he had more of a chance than he was giving himself credit for.
"Well that's good then. Means I'll be pleasantly surprised whenever I do succeed in my endeavors," he stated easily, chuckling softly as the other played with his hair. It sent shivers down his spine and he found he quite liked the feeling of the other's fingers touching his hair. Of course the thought that he could have anyone there might have been true... Sam didn't really believe it. There were those present that would never want anything to do with him. That was a laugh. He tilted his head slightly. Why him? "I told you... because you are... the most gorgeous man I've ever laid eyes on, and I decided the moment you ran into me that I wanted to know you," he stated easily, smiling brightly.
And then the other was laughing again, and blushing! Sam found that he quite liked it. He smiled, looking into the other's stunning blue eyes. "Anyone ever told you that your eyes are amazing? Like... looking into a cloudless sky that just... never ends..." he said softly before the other said something about thinking he was bad at hitting on people. "No really, I really am," he tried to say convincingly. Though as the other stated that if he got him another drink he was his for the night, Sam smiled. "You got it, gorgeous," he stated, moving away from the other male to filch another red cup and fill it with another alcoholic beverage and moved towards the other male, offering him the cup before taking another drink from his own, hand returning to the other's hip. I also know that you look way better than me." Tyler honestly had no idea what to say to Sam anymore. It was as if the guy had just stolen anything that he might have said in reply. Of course, that did not stop him from trying a few times before laughing once more as he said, "Well, you're the first person that's managed to render me speechless. So, yeah... Consider that an ego boost." There was rarely a time where Tyler had no words to say in response to someone talking about him, though there were many times he would just not voice his thoughts. However, the two things were completely different from one another. Tyler absently wet his lips once again when Sam answered why he had chosen Tyler out of everyone else there. He laughed softly with a slight smile, ducking his head for a few moments, almost attempting to hide behind the fringe of his hair before he looked to the other teen once again. "I'm not all that interesting. You'd get bored really quickly." Tyler honestly did not see himself as being that fascinating of a person. His only hobby was music, and he never shared what he wrote unless it was for a class, and then it was more half-assed than anything. He spent a lot of time watching television or movies, only for something to fill the time with. He did not often go out and do things, not after the accident. He would not talk about that, though. Honestly, he was just glad he had worn all the bracelets he did that evening. It would be nearly impossible for Sam to see the scars on his wrists that way, and Tyler really did not want those questions. He was sure Sam would not look at him the same way if he knew, too. That, Tyler did not want to deal with.
"Anyone ever told you that your eyes are amazing? Like... looking into a cloudless sky that just... never ends..." Tyler unintentionally widened his eyes for just a moment at the other teen's words. He shook his head a little in response, not trusting his voice for a long few seconds before he finally said, "Uhm, no... they haven't." Tyler was not someone who was used to compliments, especially about his appearance. It was just not a common occurance. He was pretty sure there was a flush to his face again, but he was going to ignore that. Tyler let out a breath he did not realize he was holding as Sam walked away to go get the requested drink. He was not sure why this one guy was effecting him so much. People never really did; but, then, most people did not care to try to charm him with pretty words. It was usually more straight forward; the guy wanted a lay, and sometimes, Tyler went with it. He had yet to really like anyone that he had hooked up with; and, he never wanted any of them around the way he found that he wanted Sam. "Thanks," he said as he took the drink, immediately taking a drink out of the cup while absently letting his other hand drape over Sam's shoulder once again as the boy's hand came to rest on his hip. "No. I don't really have any friends." His answer was almost immediate, but not a lie, either. He had not been at St. Helena's long enough to even try to make real enough friends with someone that he would want to hang out with them; and he was not about to bring his little brother to a party at the quarry. It would not happen. Ever. No. "Here on my own tonight. Needed to get off the campus. Figured I might as well come here. You?"

He really liked Tyler's laugh. Of course, as the other male stated that he was the first to render him speechless, he could only laugh himself. "Well I certainly wasn't trying to. I rather like the sound of your voice... deep... sensual. Mysterious," he stated, smiling slightly at the taller male. "So I'd rather not render you speechless if that's alright with you... I like hearing you talk... and laugh." He smiled at the other male, leaning forward slightly as the other stated that he wasn't exactly all that interesting.
"I highly doubt that, Tyler... you seem quite interesting to me," Sam replied easily, tilting his head as he watched the other male. While not overtly so, Tyler's very look was interesting. He hadn't been lying when he said the other had looked mysterious, those eyes lead one to believe in something deeper... something beyond the surface. There was wisdom there... sorrow... perhaps even longing. For what, Sam wasn't entirely sure. Just that he wanted to get to know the man behind the laugh. Behind the smiles and the blushes. Behind the obvious insecurity. He smirked slightly at the other male as he watched those eyes widen slightly in surprise. Oh what a delightful man this was.
"Well... maybe they should. Because your eyes are... positively magical." He nodded matter-of-factly, reaching up slightly to brush some of the other's hair from his face. "There we go... now I can see your eyes so much better," he stated absently, smiling at the other male. He watched as the other took a drink from his cup and thanked him. He rather liked the weight of the other's hand on his shoulder as they moved to the music, and Sam wasn't really paying attention to the other people at the party at this point. Why should he when this delightful young man was gracing him with his presence and attention? He had found perfection, everyone else was a bottom feeder compared to Tyler.
Sam frowned though as the other stated he didn't have any friends. Well that was silly. Why wouldn't he? Then he remembered that his own roommate had the same problem. Though this boy didn't seem like he had anger management issues. Was there something else? The reason why he was at St. Helena's, perhaps? Did he just not want friends? "Well, I'm sorry to hear that... hopefully after tonight, you won't be able to say that though..." Sam stated easily. He would be Tyler's friend, if nothing more. Though he certainly wanted more, he definitely wouldn't push anything on the other male. Something lead Sam to beleive the male might bolt if he tried doing that anyway.
When he stated that he was there on his own and had just needed to get off campus, Sam nodded in understanding. "Nah, I didn't come here with anyone. Much like yourself, I just had to get off that damn campus. I hate being couped up with all those rules and confinements put on me by people who think they know me and really don't." He shrugged slightly. That was probably his biggest issue. The counselors thought that just because they had his file that held all the history the police could gather, that they knew him inside and out. They knew nothing about him. There was nothing wrong with him. What teenage boy didn't think of sex? Didn't like sex? It was bullshit, really. He was used to people being surprised at his voice, as most people anticipated something softer or more feminine, probably more like it had been before his voice broke, which it had done fairly young, actually. It was how he got away with faking being old enough for tattoos as young as he did before he found a tattooist that did not care. Tyler absentmindedly wet his lips, rolling a shoulder in a shrug as Sam said that he thought he was plenty interesting. Tyler honestly did not see it. He was nobody important or special. He had nothing that made him stand out from the crowd. He just existed, and that was hard enough for him most days. " Matter of perception, I guess. I may just prove you wrong, though." Tyler did not see anything about himself that people could find interesting. Tragic, sure; annoying, most definitely; but, interesting? It just did not seem to fit. " I mean, there's not much to know. I go to school, every once and a while go out to parties. S'about it." Tyler really did not know what Sam saw in him that made the guy think that he was interesting. He guessed that he dressed differently than most people, and that could be the cause of it, but whatever the reasoning was, he just did not see it. Tyler's eyes snapped up to Sam again immediately when the other boy brushed his hair back out of his eyes. The only other person that had ever done anything like that had been Matt; and, that had been so that Tyler could not hide behind his hair and Matt could see if Tyler was lying. " There we go... now I can see your eyes so much better." Tyler laughed softly once again and he smiled, absently toying with Sam's hair once again. " Well, if that's what you want." Tyler shrugged a little when Sam said that he was sorry about Tyler not having many friends. Tyler wasn't sorry, himself. It was what it was. He did not have the time or patience to deal with many people, especially when, given everything he knew, it was highly likely none of them would truly care about him. So, why should he waste his time with it? Tyler purposely cut himself off from people, anyway. It was easier to slip away from the world when you had no ties, no matter how false. Even the false bonds to people were enough to make it more difficult to just let go of everything. Of course, Ty figured that was probably why some of the staff tended to watch him more carefully than he thought they should have. He was cut off from people, and usually, that was one of the warning signs. Tyler smiled, though, when Sam mentioned that he may just have a new friend after that night. " Yeah," replied Tyler, chuckling a little with a smile. " Maybe that'll change." Tyler was not sure he really wanted to be friends with Sam, though. Or maybe, it was he did not know if he wanted to be just friends with the guy. However, he smiled the smile that people always bought, the one that made it difficult for anyone to ever think there might be something bothering him. He nodded in agreement at Sam's talk of the campus, and it only then hit him that it meant he and Sam went to school together. Tyler had actually thought that Sam was probably one of the public school kids. There were a lot of them at the party, after all. " Oh, you go to St. Hell, too?" he asked, absently wetting his lips while flicking his hair out of his eyes. " Sorry. It sucks there. I'd rather be there than home, though." It was the truth, even if he'd rather be nowhere than there, but details. He would rather be anywhere else than home. Home was where the bad things were en masse. Things were hard enough there, where he could be away from it all and easier numb himself to everything. Home was where his monsters lived. " How long have you gone there? 'Ve only been here a few weeks." [/div]

TEMPLATE BY ROYALSTANDARD OF ETS AND CAUTION

"Well I do aim to be original," he claimed, laughing a bit himself. "But you are. You seem like one of those... dark and brooding silent types, am I wrong? And those kinds of guys always exude the air of mystery. It's what makes them so... exciting. Intriguing." On the last word, he moved just a little closer to the other, his hand moving to stroke his finger down the other's cheek lightly. "And the fact that you have such a unique voice definitely helps too." Let alone that the said voice just oozed sexual energy.
Sam was unconcerned though at Tyler's assumption that he would prove him wrong about being interesting. "I highly doubt that, Tyler. You'd be surprised by me, I think, if you just let yourself forget how other people react." Just because no one else found him interesting didn't mean that Sam didn't. He needed to let the other know that. "Just because that's all you do doesn't mean you aren't interesting. Your actions aren't what make you interesting. If they did, then I would certainly be the dullest person in existence. What makes you interesting... are the things you can't see." He smiled slightly at the other male, arching an eyebrow. After all, most of what he himself did was very similar. With the exception of bringing girls back to the dorms... or boys.
He wondered vaguely about the other's reaction to him brushing back those lovely black locks of hair, though let it go for now. He simply smiled at the other, glad that he'd brought forth Tyler's laugh again. He really liked the sound of the other's voice. "It is indeed. I like to see all of you," he added, a small smirk and a bit of glint in his eyes. Especially the other's face. The high cheekbones, the deep blue eyes, the strong jaw. He fought the urge to reach up and brush his finger over the ring through the other's lip as well. He was so gorgeous. And Sam wanted him. Badly. But here was neither the time nor the place. He didn't need to pin the other male up against some random nearby rock. Hell, he didn't even know if the other pitched or caught. Not that it couldn't be figured out fairly easily.
Sam was glad though that the other male was at least entertaining the idea of being friends with him. He smiled, returning the gesture of lightly playing with the other's hair. "I hope it does. I think I'd like to crack the mystery that is you, and that's easier done if we're friends," he stated teasingly, chuckling softly. Though he'd much rather get to know him on a much more personal level, though one step at a time. He didn't know if the other had been serious earlier, and he didn't want to come on to strong... or as desparate. Because he wasn't.
The addict couldn't help but laugh as the other asked if he went to St. Hell too. He nodded a bit humorously, taking another drink from his cup. It was almost empty... he should have gotten himself another cup when he'd gotten Tyler his. "Yeah, well... I don't really have much of a home anymore. My parents are in jail and I don't know where my sister is. I was thrust into foster care, and here is better than there." He hated his foster parents. They were awful, and wanted very little to do with him. Not that he minded that all that much, but it was odd to adapt to. He didn't like change very much, and he'd had to undergo a lot of changes lately, by himself... he wasn't a fan. When the other asked how long he'd been there, he shrugged. "I started last year... toward the middle of the Fall semester. So I've been here for a while, I guess." He shrugged again. Tyler laughed softly with an amused smirk as he continued to toy with Sam's hair, absentmindedly pressing even closer to the other teen. He did not want to find Sam charming, but he did. There was just something about the other man that kept Tyler's attention, and that was not something that happened too easily. He hummed a little in acknowledgement to what Sam said about him being interesting, but he was not fully sure he agreed with Sam's way of thinking. He guessed he did not have to. Sam believed it, so to the other teen, it was true. And, if Sam was interested in him, well, Tyler could not really find anything bad about that one. Tyler set aside his empty cup so that he could wrap his other arm around Sam's neck as well, bringing himself flush against the other teen. He laughed softly at Sam's statement, and he bit his lower lip for a moment before saying, "You haven't seen all of me, yet." Tyler was pretty much implying what he was sure that Sam was going to think he was implying. The other teen really had not seen anywhere near all of him, but Tyler... Well, he was finding very few reasons why that could not be arranged. He was not the type of person that often just went home with a stranger, but for this guy, Tyler was willing to make an exception. Besides, what could one time hurt? It'd been a long while since Tyler had hooked up with anyone, or even thought about it. Sam definitely made him think about it.
Tyler bit his lip lightly for a moment when Sam stated how long he had been in the school and why. It sucked, but Tyler did not comment on that, because he knew that he did not want someone else's pity; and, he doubted very much that Sam would be one to want it either. "So, in your time there... 've you managed to come across a place where we could go and be uninterrupted?" Tyler was a bit nervous at the suggestion alone, but honestly, he wanted to go somewhere that was not so noisy and crowded, but he wanted Sam there. He liked the idea of being wanted; and Sam obviously wanted. Tyler was willing to give that night, and it might have been because of the alcohol; but, a glance at the boy in front of him made him quickly realize it was not the alcohol. It was just him, actually caring enough to want to hook up with someone who was essentially a stranger. "'Ve got a roommate, so we can't really go back to my dorm." Tyler was not really sure who his roommate was; they had not met by that point. He just knew that he was informed that morning of being assigned a roommate. He could not remember the boy's name, thought it was Martin or something. Oh well. He guessed that bit was not important. "I really wanna get out of here."

"I guess you could say that, but I think I've just got a thing for all of you..." Well, what he'd seen so far anyway. He could only imagine about everything else, but he was imagining that it was pretty great too. He smirked at the thought of getting the other male undressed so that he could see all of him, lavishing his attention on every last inch of the male in front of him. And he would take great pleasure in exploring every expanse of skin.
When the other stated that he hadn't seen all of him yet, Sam smirked. He leaned in a little closer, pressing a light kiss to the other's jaw just beneath his ear. "Yet," he whispered, chuckling softly as he discarded his own cup, free hand moving around the other's waist to pull them together even more as the other moved up beneath the arms circled around his own neck to thread into the long hair of the other male, resting his forehead against the other's with a small smile before he leaned in and stole a kiss from those luscious lips. Oh yes, he tasted every bit as good as he looked. And hey, if the other male was just being flirty and didn't mean for it to go very far, Sam would be disgruntled, but he supposed he couldn't blame the other male. They didn't even know each other's last names, after all.
As the other bit his lip, Sam leaned in to kiss him again. "Don't bite yourself... leaves less for me to get to do..." he stated with a smirk, nipping the other's lower lip in turn before the other asked if, in his time at St. Helena's, he'd been able to find a place where they could go and have a bit of privacy. He smirked slightly, eyes glinting. "But of course... I've got plenty of places where we could be alone..." he stated. There were a lot of unused dorm rooms that weren't checked very often by the staff, because they stupidly thought that since the doors were locked that they couldn't be accessed. They'd go around, test the doorknobs, and if they proved to still be locked, they moved on.
He nodded as the other stated that he had a roommate. "Yeah... me too," he stated simply. Though when the other said he really wanted to get out of there, Sam allowed himself to pull free from the other slowly, hand sliding around the other's waist. His hand moved down from the other's hair and trailed along the other's arm until he reached his hand, lacing their fingers loosely, he turned. "Follow me," he stated, pulling the other along behind him lightly. He slowed, allowing the male to walk beside of him. He wondered vaguely if the male really planned to go through with it. He'd had a few would-be lovers back out as soon as he started undressing them. Those were mostly virgins though, and with Tyler's looks, there was no way he was a virgin. So maybe this night would end well after all.
The quarry wasn't all that far from the school. Walking through the small patch of forest towards the front gate, he waved at the guard stationed there who let them in without issue. It wasn't quite past curfew, so them arriving just before curfew wasn't exactly a questionable offense. They were just coming back to school and obeying the rules like good little students. Though as he lead the other into the boys' dorms, he lead him to the forth floor and the unused dorms on the east wing. Releasing the other's hand as they reached the very last door, he knelt down, pulling a paperclip and hair pin from his pocket already twisted and bent into unusual positions, he slipped them into the lock easily and turned it, opening the door.
Opening it, he flipped on the light and moved to draw the curtains so no one would see the light from outside. He then turned towards Tyler. "Lock the door behind you. The staff don't often check these rooms here, and when they do, they usually just turn the knobs and if they're still locked, they don't bother to unlock it and check inside," he stated, moving back towards the other male with a small smile. "For future referance, from 420 down usually... these last ten rooms, are not used. Haven't been used in a while... guess they've never had more than 20 seniors in a while..." He raised his hand then, stroking his fingers over the other's cheek slightly before leaning in and kissing him once more. He was not exactly sure what to say to that, so he settled with not saying anything. However, he did inhale a little sharply when Sam's lips pressed against his jawline. "Yet," replied Tyler in agreement, nodding a little. He was pretty sure in the fact that Sam would get to that point, it was just a matter of getting somewhere that was not so open. Tyler tensed a little at first when Sam's lips pressed against his own, but after a moment he deepened the kiss a little, tightening one arm around Sam's neck. Honestly, he still did not see why someone like Sam would want to be with someone like him; but, he was not going to complain. Sam was hot, and kissing him, and nipping at his lower lip; an action that made Tyler chuckle with a smirk. "I think I prefer you doing it, anyway." He nodded a little as he stilled his hand in Tyler's hair, leaving his fingers in the dark strands while the other teen wrapped another arm around him. Tyler assumed he had ditched his drink as well, but did not see it. He was glad that Sam seemed to know of a place for them to go. He smiled when Sam linked their fingers together and he followed the other teen's lead. He figured they were heading back to campus, but not exactly sure where they would go past that. He followed Sam's lead, walking next to him for most of the way. He was not a big fan of the guard that was stationed at the gate, but paid no mind to that man as he walked with Sam. He was not exactly sure what to say, so he did not say anything. He did not trust that his voice would be very steady just then, either. He was nervous, mostly because he never often did things like that. He never really hooked up with someone he had not known for a while first. It had always just felt weird to him; but, he wanted to with Sam, really wanted to. Maybe it was just because Sam had been good about pouring compliments on him, and Tyler was vaguely aware of the thought that Sam could easily do the same thing to everyone he met. Tyler had no way of knowing. He kind of hoped not, though; because Tyler really liked Sam's smile.
They ended up going up to the fourth floor and to one of the rooms down at the end of the hall. Tyler could not help but smirk a little as Sam picked the lock to the door. He followed the other boy inside and locked the door after them while Sam shut the curtains. Tyler stored away the information on the unused rooms, realizing he had just unintentionally been given the best location for him to go whenever it was that he was going to make his next attempt. Maybe with a room like that, no one would come in with last minute heroics. "I'll keep that in mind," Tyler stated as he absently wet his lips. He closed his eyes for a moment when Sam's fingers brushed against his face, and he turned into the touch a little. When the other teen kissed him again, Tyler rested one hand on Sam's chest, the other on the back of his neck to pull him a little closer. He nipped at Sam's lower lip lightly before laughing a little and pulling away just enough to look at Sam with a smile. "Sorry. I don't... I don't usually do things like this. I mean, I don't even know your last name or anything." He shook his head a little, but did not pull away from Sam any. He did not want the guy to think he did not want this; because he did, he was just having to get over the fact that he was actually doing that, hooking up with some guy he really knew nothing about. "I want to do this, though." He nodded a little before leaning in to kiss Sam once more, not liking the distance that he had put between them.

Sam certainly preferred it as well. He leaned in, nipping the other's lower lip once more, smirking slightly as the other's hand stilled in his hair. He found he quite liked the other playing with his hair. It was something of a relief, a lot of people were turned off by a guy with long hair. Though that, and the way that Tyler so easily walked with him away from the noise of the party, let Sam know that Tyler was interested. At least enough to humor his intentions for a little while. He didn't seem to notice the other's discomfort in regards to the security personel. Sam had stopped paying much attention to them. They left the students alone for the most part.
He was glad that Tyler had already known to lock the door, however, and he smirked as th eother stated that he would keep in mind what he'd said about the rooms scarcely being used or even checked. He hoped that the other meant that he'd remember it for later... though Sam was rather hoping that he would get to make use of these rooms with Tyler as his company more often. He smiled at Tyler's reaction to his touch, fingers tracing the flawless skin and he leaned into the other's hand on his chest, smirking slightly, revelling in the other's touch and the close proximity. He gave a low growl as the other pulled from the kiss after nipping his lip. He leaned in to kiss the other again but then he was talking and Sam forced himself to pause and listen.
Didn't usually do things like this? What, going into locked rooms with strangers with the intention of having sex? Sam smirked. He did it all the time. Though at the other's statement that he didn't even know his last name, Sam chuckled. "Wheaton. Sam Wheaton is my name." He smirked, chuckling softly as he leaned in, kissing the other's throat lightly. "I want to do this too... but only if you're comfortable, Tyler..." he whispered softly, pulling back enough to look up at the other male. "However you want to do it... do you want to be on top? Bottom? Do you want to take turns? But either way... I fully intend to lick every inch of you," he stated, pushing his hands down the other's chest with a smirk.
He gripped the other's shirt, pulling him away from the door and towards the vacant bed pushing the other into a sit before he shifted to straddle the other's lap, leaning down to kiss the other male once more while pushing his hands down to toy with the hem of the other's shirt lightly. "Hello... my name is Sam Wheaton." He kissed down the other's jawline to his throat as he eased up the other's shirt slowly. "I love music and I play guitar and sing." He kissed over the other's collarbone and backed away only to tug the other's shirt off. He pushed Tyler down to the bed and smirked. "I'm 17 years old and a senior in high school..." He leaned down, kissing over the other's shoulder and collarbone over his chest slowly.
As he moved down the other's arm, he gave a soft hum. "I absolutely love tattoos... He dragged his tongue over the ink on the other's arm, kissing and sucking slowly. He moved back up after reaching the other's hand to kiss up his arm, licking and sucking at the tattoos a second time until he made his way back up the other's neck and pressed a firm kiss to the other's lips and pulled away, tugging on the lip ring. "I love body jewelry..." He straightened to shrug off the jacket he was wearing before moving down, hands resting on either side of Tyler's head with a smirk. "And I think you are the sexiest fucking man I have ever laid eyes on." Another kiss delivered to the other's lips... Partially, though, because he just did not see the point in it. There were times, though, that a need (or in this case) a want came around and he put aside that general "no" rule. He did not want to be one of those people, the ones that slept with anyone who was interested. He would rather have some sort of class. There were already enough things wrong with him without adding whore to the mix, thank you. Of course, some people would think that of him anyway for sleeping around at all, but you can't please everyone. It was impossible to do; but, Tyler kept trying, anyway.
"Cooper. I'm Tyler Cooper," he replied after Sam had given him his last name. He felt it was only fair to return the favor. "I don't top." It was honestly more of he hadn't topped before; and, he honestly did not want to do something like that for the first time while intoxicated. It did not sound like a good idea to him. It was actually probably asking for disaster. He bit his lip lightly for a moment to bite back a want to comment at the 'every inch' statement from Sam; because, like hell would that happen if Tyler had anything to do with it. He had a lot of bracelets and wrist cuffs on either wrist, covering up the scars he had on either arm; and he fully intended on those staying in place. Explaining those was not something that Tyler wanted to do. He was just glad that there were so many of them that it would be difficult for Sam to see any of the scars between the bracelets. The man was still a stranger, and Tyler did not share that part of himself with friends, let alone someone he did not even know. To strangers, he was just a withdrawn guy with a punk ass style. Nobody needed to know how bad off he was. Tyler followed Sam's lead over to the bed and laughed softly as he let the other teen push him down onto it. His hands rested on Sam's waist as the boy started toying with his shirt, and he smirked a little as he listened to Sam. He moved just enough to assist Sam with removing his shirt and lay back fully on the bed. Tyler closed his eyes for a few moments, absently pressing into each kiss against his skin. It was weird having someone pay that much attention to him, something that had never happened before. Generally when he hooked up with someone, it was just to get off and get out. That was it. So, easing in to things just felt weird to Tyler, though he did not mind it at all. It was a ... nice change. He inhaled sharply as Sam tugged on his lip ring, unable to hold back the faint moan that passed his lips at the action. "Fuck," he said with a breathy laugh and a smirk. Tyler smirked again as Sam rested a hand on either side of his head, ducking down enough for a kiss after yet another compliment. Tyler nipped at his lower lip, tugging on it a little before releasing while running both hands over Sam's chest. "That honor lies with you, I think. I mean, how are you even real?" Tyler honestly could not believe that someone like Sam would even bother with him; then again, he hid the messed up side of himself rather easily. So, there was that.
